Italy is a story of colors and contrasts.
For this illustration, I chose soft, enveloping tones: a soothing Mediterranean blue, shades of ochre evoking sun-washed façades, and the warm terracotta of ancient alleyways. A minimalist style traces the outlines of iconic landmarks: the majestic Colosseum, the leaning Tower of Pisa defying gravity, and the canals of Venice, where a striped-shirt gondolier glides central figure and guide of this imaginary journey.
Each element layers like fragments of a poetic collage, where Italian cities meet and complement one another, united by a shared sense of timeless elegance. The composition invites you on a visual journey, where Italy’s warm soul is revealed through subtle, nostalgic details—carriers of stories and dreams. It’s an invitation to wander, to get lost, and to be amazed.
